Taught wrong?

Question: Just because something is taught and accepted by many as being true (evolution is an example), does that make it true? Lots of folks used to think the world was flat and that the sun orbited around this earth. Some say Columbus discovered the Americas. How could he do that when people were already here? Also, just because you don't believe something to be true, does that make it false? If one is honest with them self, I feel they must admit that what they believe may not be true; not an easy thing to do for sure. I'm not trying to create doubt or weaken a persons faith. I'm trying to get people to actually study their Bibles, learn and make up their own mind about what is true. Another question: Is there a possibility we have been taught wrong about many other things to include dinosaurs, when they roamed earth and why there are none walking around today? Are verifiable, no doubt, real human bones found with dinosaur bones? Many believe it to be true. Is it actually true? Is it also possible we have been taught wrong about how long man has been on this earth? “Much is not taught at all, taught wrong on purpose or misunderstood and taught wrong”. Some examples follow: The age of this planet. Science and the Bible are closer than you may think. Two floods in the Bible. Earth and heaven ages. Same earth and heaven; different purposes, different happenings, different periods of time, etc. Adam and Eve are in Christ's genealogy. They are part of God's plan to bring forth the Savior. Who Jesus Christ really is. When does the real Jesus Christ return? Sixth or seventh trump? What happens to humans that are alive when the real Jesus returns at the 7th trump? Who the Antichrist really is. Will he be a human? (Antichrist = instead of Christ in the Greek language. He'll look and act like the real Christ; his true purpose). What is important concerning the 6th trump? We humans have 2 bodies; a natural body and a spiritual body. The answers to all of these topics and questions, plus many more, are in the Bible. You have to study the Bible to know what it is about and what is in it. You will never find truth if you never look for it. Don't rely on others, see Jeremiah 17:5 and 17:7. The above topics are just a small sampling of what is not known or misunderstood and taught wrongly. Do you want more wisdom and knowledge? Ask God for it. See 1 Chronicles 22:12; Psalm 119:34; [Proverbs 1:5, 7, 2:1-11, 3:3-5, 4:7]; James 1:5. What kind of wisdom does God give you? It is not worldly, non-spiritual wisdom! Keep studying the Bible on your own and pray to God He will open up your spiritual eyes and ears; no need to be afraid to ask Him for wisdom, He tells us in many places to do just that! John 17:17, His word is truth.
