Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. All verses come from a KJV Bible. [God knew him (Jeremiah) before He formed him in the belly of his mother (the womb). How can that be? When would that have taken place? See all of the verses that follow]. Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. [Foreknow? God knew them before? He also predestined them. Wow]! Romans 9:11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)Romans 9:12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.Romans 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
[God hated Esau before he was even born? Why did God hate Esau before he was even born]? We have a spirit and a spiritual body also. See the following verses. Ecclesiastes 12:6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern. [Ecclesiastes is written to the man under the sun, flesh man. This verse is saying when this flesh body dies for whatever the reason; see next verse].Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. [Our spirit returns to God who gave it! For God to be able to “give it” (our spirit), it had to be with Him before we were even born. Our flesh bodies return to the earth, we are finished with the flesh body, they have fulfilled their purposes in God's plan; they go back to the dust/dirt/soil/earth they are made of]. 1 Corinthians 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. [We have two bodies, a natural one and a spiritual one. See 2 Corinthians 5:1-8; when we die we are present with the Lord. The spiritual body is what one spends eternity in, not their flesh/natural body. What does the word “raised” mean in 1 Corinthians 15:44? Resurrection (a transition from flesh to spirit) is what it means]. More on this subject: One of the mysteries of the Kingdom! Same Heaven and Earth, 3 different ages/eons! 1st earth and heaven age: Before this one. No humans in flesh, spirit only. Dinosaurs on earth, yes. Salvation wasn't necessary in this age. This is when Satan’s overthrow occurred; he was unsuccessful by the way. 2nd earth and heaven age: The one we are in now. Human and animal flesh. We all die once (Hebrews 9:27), first death; death of our flesh bodies. Age of salvation; a decision must be made by all humans to either believe and choose salvation at this time or not; there is no third choice. 3rd earth and heaven age: Eternity; after this one we are in now. No flesh of any kind, human or animal. Again, salvation is not necessary in this age. All 3 heaven and earth ages are covered in 2 Peter 3:5-13. Ages = eons, periods of time, different purposes, different happenings. Please take the time to try the two websites below. Very enlightening. [lengthy, but very informative] http://www.goodnewsministry.com/topics/three_earth_ages.htm http://americanwisdomseries.com/TOC%20Three%20Earth%20Ages.html Matthew 24: And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? The word “world’ in the above verse is word # G165 in a Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance. It is not talking about the actual planet. The definition of “world” follows: ahee-ohn'; from the same as G104; properly, an age; by extension, perpetuity (also past); by implication, the world; specially (Jewish) a Messianic period (present or future):—age, course, eternal, (for) ever(-more), (n-)ever, (beginning of the , while the) world (began, without end). Compare G5550. This topic is definitely worthy of more study, prayer and contemplation. I want to connect the dots and get a more complete picture. I truly hope I haven't confused anyone. If you don't understand now, be patient, put this on the back shelf. Ask God for the wisdom to understand, see James 1:5. In any case, keep studying His word as He commands us to do in 2 Timothy 2:15.
