Description
Hindus worship Lord Shiva and Parvati, also known as Gauri, at the Shiv Gauri Shankar Mandir. It is called after Lord Shiva's Shankar, a portrayal of him with a third eye and a trident in his palm. Shankar is a symbol of Lord Shiva. Usually, the temple is ornamented with fine carvings and vibrant paintings that represent a variety of mythical scenes and stories involving Lord Shiva and his family. A sacred shrine considered Lord Shiva's residence and often the temple's major draw, is also housed in the building. As with most Hindu temples, visitors must take off their shoes before entering the temple grounds and adhere to particular rules and traditions while there. The temple frequently serves as the focal point of religious rituals, festivals, and everyday worship sessions.Take part in the temple's programs, whether you are a Hindu or are just curious about Hinduism and Indian culture. To Contact: (416) 319 6282Website: https://gaurishankarmandir.ca/
