There is a right way and a wrong way to do pretty much everything. Look around with your own eyes; look at others; watch the daily news. I bet you have a few scars that remind you of doing things the wrong way. But what is the real danger? What is the right way? What is really important? The real danger in this life that we live is that we live it “OUTSIDE” of the counsel and confines of the Lord Jesus Christ; we do it our way instead of His way! Again, the danger that we bring ourselves into is when we begin to think that we can make decisions and do things “VOID” of the guidance of God. Why do we do this? Because there is a way that seems right to us, but it leads to death! Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Proverbs 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. [Second time for emphasis; also, death is one of Satan’s names]. Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. [If the ways of a man lead to death, which is the right way? See the following verses]. Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. [Jesus Christ and His ways are the right ways; the only ways! Make your choice]. Do it the way of man and you get eternal death. Do it God’s way, you gain eternal life. Plain as day!Study the Bible and learn the right way; trust Him. Don't rely on your own understanding. Don’t cave in to the doctrines and policies of Satan. See the following verses for the reason why: 2 John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.2 John 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:2 John 1:11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. Other pertinent verses: Isaiah 5:20; John 3:19-21; James 4:17. You also do not want to be making bad decisions if you happen to be a judge or an elected official, etc.; see the next verse: Proverbs 17:15 "He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, Even they both are abomination to the Lord."This is aimed at those that sit in authority and power over others (our present day Justice Department for instance, [2023]), and it deals with praising the wicked and their deeds, and condemning the righteous as being something evil. God God hates those that support the wicked, evil doers, and condemn those that are doing good things. Read the next verse also:Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! If you want to be free from the bondage of deception, (caused by listening to false teachers), learn the truth by studying the word of God completely as we are commanded to do; see the following verses. Another really good reason to study is you will not hear God’s word today where you should hear His word (in church). 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: (That famine for hearing the Word of the Lord is upon us now. People are starving for the truth in the Word. Sadly, fairy tales, false teachings, traditions and commandments of men are all that are taught in most churches today. You can overcome the famine by actually studying the word of God yourself; what a concept). By studying the Bible yourself you will discover amazing things that, sadly, you will never hear while sitting in a church pew.
