Count your blessings! This is a KJV Bible study guide! Psalm 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: [We all benefit in innumerable ways. All of us are breathing the air He created, right? Blessings come in many forms that we usually take for granted or don't even realize they are blessings. Have you thought about all the various ways God blesses you]? Ephesians 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; [Give thanks for some things or “all” things? In whose name? We thank Him for all He has done for us]. Philippians2:4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. [Many are too self centered, they constantly feel sorry for themselves, and never are thinking of others. Get yourself off of your own mind; think of others. Get out there and help someone else who truly needs that help. You'll be amazed at how much better you'll feel and act]. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. [Give thanks for every thing? It is God's will for you]. Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. [Don't be a lover of money and material things of the world. Be satisfied with what you have. God will never give up on you; He has a lot of patience]. Most do not count their blessings and thank God for those blessings; especially this day and age (August 2021). There are so many that can't even see their blessings, I'm sad to say. Many are too busy feeling sorry for themselves; they tend to focus on what they think they don't have compared to others. They're envious and covetous. Many tend to play the victim game avoiding personal responsibility for their lives. Be careful what you ask for! “I never saw a wild thing sorry for itself. A small bird will drop frozen dead from a bough without ever having felt sorry for itself”. D.H. Lawrence. Study the Bible, cover to cover. If you have never done that, start today! You will be truly amazed at what is in the Bible.
